back to school

After a FANTASTIC summer break we are all ready to head back into a more normal routine.  School started today.  I have a big 1st grader!

 And a big-time kindergartner!

 Reese wondered if I wanted a picture of her since I was taking one of the other girls....Of course I needed a picture of her. 

 She's the last grand kid at Mawmaw's Daycare and it seems a bit weird to be only dropping off one kid there now. 

The big girls both reported a great day today.  Presley even earned herself a "ticket" for doing the right thing.  She was super excited she got a prize at the end of the day.  I happened to be walking behind her class on the way to a whole-school assembly and noticed her class boy line seemed much longer than the girls line so I counted up real quick.... She has 8 girls and 20 boys!!  A class full of 20 boys!!!  I can't imagine. 

Addy reported that her favorite thing about kindergarten today was lunch and recess....sounds about right.  :)  I think I'm going to have a really nice class this year. 

P.S.  Just went back and found Presley's first day of kindergarten pictures...
